Crack Sealing
Pavements rarely fail from the top down. They fail because water finds a crack, gets into the base and takes the structure with it. Sealing early costs a fraction of fixing the consequence, and it buys years.
A hot-applied sealant is worked into the crack, bonds to both edges, and stays flexible enough to move with the pavement through summer and winter. It is quick, it causes minimal disruption to traffic or trading, and it is the single most effective thing an asset owner can do to extend the life of a sealed surface.
Where it is worth doing: council and local road maintenance programs, commercial and industrial carparks, hardstands and access roads, pavements approaching a reseal to buy another season, and sporting and court surfaces.
The work suits a schedule rather than a tender. We can walk an asset, assess it and program the sealing in advance, as a standalone job, as part of scheduled maintenance, or ahead of a reseal. If you manage a pavement and nobody has looked at it recently, it is worth doing before the next wet season rather than after.
