Googong Netball and Basketball Courts

Supply and placement of around 900 tonnes of asphalt beneath a spray sealed surface across eight netball courts and one full-size basketball court at Googong, built for local competition use.

A court is a different problem to a road. The surface tolerance was held to one millimetre because competition play depends on it, with drainage control and finishing standards to match. Strict quality assurance, surface accuracy and construction control from the first lift to the final seal.

Spray sealing, aggregate supply and spread, asphalt supply and placement, compaction, testing and site preparation by our own crew, with asphalt haulage subcontracted.
